Over 3,500 buyers, of which more than 1,700 arrived from abroad, discovered the creativity, the most advanced stylistic research and the latest technological innovations showed by the top of the international spinning industry in this 95th Pitti Filati dedicated to the fall-winter 25/26 season.
It was an edition that took place in a difficult and particular economic context. Economic and political instability in the world, inflation in Europe and Italy, high interest rates, are all factors that determine for the Italian spinning industry an adjustment period, after the predictable slowdown of 2023 as a consequence of the two years of growth linked to the post-pandemic rebound effect.
The editorial theme of this exhibition is the «lemon» with its explosive, vitaminic, sunny, Mediterranean yellow colour, which is found throughout the entire exhibition as a common thread.
The research space is renewed and beautiful and guides us in the new winter season through suggestions of colours, knitting stitches, new combinations and images taken partly from nature and partly from the world of home decor, while the area dedicated to Custom Easy tells important segments of the creative process, from embroidery to finishing, from cuts to design software, from textile machines to washing.
KnitClub is also growing, with its quality knitwear factories, a creative and operational link between the spinning mills and the style offices of the international buyers who visit the show.
